Tasted as Day 5 of the 2024 Saratoga Whiskey Club Advent Calendar. Every day is a new adventure with a blind tasting, where we each try to guess the country of origin, the type and age of the whisk(e)y, the ABV, and the type of barrel/cask used for maturation, followed by a reveal at 9PM. Adnams Southwold has been a distillery since 2010 in Suffolk, but has been making beer for a long time. They have an award winning gin and some other products as well. This Single Malt spent its first 7 years in 2nd Fill French Oak and the last 2 years in Sauternes casks. Whiskyside is an independent purveyor of spirits; and this release is an exclusive collaboration between Whiskyside and Adnams.
