Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 130 - Japanese Whisky Dinner. This single malt whisky is a marriage of 6 different casks (sherry, sake, shochu, port, bourbon, beer), hence the name "sextet." The various components were matured from 3 years to 8 years. This whisky was released only in Japan; and I was lucky to be able to try it in the USA, courtesy of Charles Grabitzky and the Saratoga Whiskey Club. This was released as a 500ml bottle. The price shown is scaled from 500ml to a 750ml equivalent.
