Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 170 - Scotland A to Z, Part II. The Annandale Distillery was established in 1836, and ran until 1918, at which point it closed down. New owners purchased the facility in 2007; and production at the distillery began again in 2014, 96 years after being shuttered. The first bottling from the new distillery was in 2018. Man O'Words is a single-cask single malt whisky, inspired by the Scottish poet Robert Burns, who was also an excise man at Annan.
