Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 173 - Scotland A to Z, Part III. This single-cask whisky was distilled at Aultmore in 2005, matured in a refill bourbon hogshead, and bottled by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Connoisseur's Choice Cask Strength series on 6 July 2021. There were only 241 bottles in this UK-exclusive release. The whisky was not peated, However, possibly due to the char on the barrel, it had a gentle smoky flavor.
