Tasted this as Day 23 of The Saratoga Whiskey Club Advent Calendar 2020. Every day is a new adventure with a blind tasting, where we each try to guess the country of origin, the type and age of the whisk(e)y, the ABV, and the distillery, followed by a reveal at 9PM. This was a confusing whiskey that tasted either like a high-rye bourbon or a low-rye rye, both with a heavy malted barley influence. The mashbill: 51% Rye, 49% Malted Barley.
