Tasted at The Bourbon Den (Jan Daurio). Blue Note Bourbon is distilled in Tennessee and bottled by B.R. Distilling. They do not disclose who actually distilled the whiskey, but my guess is that it's Cascade Hollow (i.e. DIckel). This bottle is unusual in that it's a 17-year-old whiskey, supposedly at barrel proof, that came out at only 47.7% ABV. Typically, whiskeys matured in Tennessee gain alcohol content over time, as the water tends to evaporate in the angels' share. So, I would have expected the alcohol content to be much higher.
