Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Paired Irish Dinner for St Patrick's Day with Farmacy Restobar. This cask-strength whiskey has an official retail price of $85. However, the current price, within one month of release, is near $400. The club was lucky to be able to purchase a bottle for $135. Blue Spot was a 7-year single pot still which was part of the core line of "spot" whiskies; and it was discontinued in 1964 and reintroduced in late 2020/early 2021. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and ex-Madeira casks, seasoned in Tinta Negra.
