I purchased this bottle at the Cadenhead shop in Campbeltown in August of 2023. This single-cask, single-malt whisky was distilled at Bruichladdich in December 2007. It was matured in a Chateau Climens (French Sauternes) cask at the Cadenhead Warehouse in Campbeltown, and bottled in May 2003 for the 2023 Campbeltown Malts Festival. The whisky was bottled at a 200ml size, so that 3.5 times more people would have access to this delicious whisky than a 700-750ml bottling would have enabled. There were 1015 total bottles. The bottle label just says Bruichladdich Distillery. However, this is clearly a heavily-peated Port Charlotte expression. The 200ml bottle was 40 British Pounds ($51 US) at the Cadenhead shop. The price shown is scaled to an equivalent 750ml bottle.
