Caribou Crossing is a single-barrel Canadian whisky that is distilled either in Alberta or in Montreal at Old Montreal Distilling. It is bottled and branded by Sazerac at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY USA. As Blanton's has a horse on the stopper, Caribou Crossing has a caribou on the stopper. This particular bottle was made specifically for the Chateau Frontenac Hotel in Quebec City. It is not available for retail sale; but, I have assumed that the price would be the same as the standard release. It was tasty, but very light. I would have loved to taste it bottled at barrel proof.
