Double-distilled unpeated malt whiskey from an undisclosed Irish distillery. Distilled Aug 28 2001. Bottled Feb 8 2016. Initially matured for 11 years in a first-fill bourbon cask, then 3 years in a Brunello di Montalcino red wine cask from Altesino. Celtic Cask did not disclose the distillery where this was made. However, in 2001, only Cooley was making double-distilled spirit in Ireland; so, it's almost 100% certain that this is Cooley spirit. Only 323 bottles were produced.
