Tasted this as Day 8 of The Saratoga Whiskey Club Advent Calendar 2021. Every day is a new adventure with a blind tasting, where we each try to guess the country of origin, the type and age of the whisk(e)y, and the ABV, followed by a reveal at 9PM. This whisky was distilled, matured and bottled at the Cotswolds Distillery in England. Cotswolds opened in 2014. The Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky is a marriage of carefully selected and blended sherry casks. Each yearly batch is unique, drawn from the finest American and Spanish oak hogsheads & butts, some of which have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry and others with sweet Pedro Ximénez.
