Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 124 - Found North Whisky. We tasted 8 glorious drams in this tasting, hosted in person by co-founder Nick Taylor. All Found North whiskies are bottled at cask strength without chill filtering or added color - yay! One of the things that makes Found North truly special is the total transparency about their whiskies. Found North is a blender and independent bottler. They get whisky from various distilleries in Canada. Due to NDAs with these distilleries, they are not able to disclose who distilled the spirit. This whisky is a blend of 3 whiskies that were then married and finished for an additional year in a new, charred oak barrel: 50% 12-year rye | 20% 19-year rye | 30% 21-year corn.
