The price shown is what my good friend Siavash Yazdanfar paid for this, which is close to the "official retail" price. It is likely that one could expect to pay $500-1500 for this bourbon. Without water, the nose is perfect and the finish is amazing; but the palate is hot and a little bitter. With a couple drops of water, the nose loses some of the floral notes; but the palate improves with lovely floral notes and milk chocolate, and the bitterness disappears. This is a great whiskey; but it takes too much work to get everything all at once.
