Tasted as Day 24 (the final day) of The Saratoga Whiskey Club Advent Calendar 2023. Every day is a new adventure with a blind tasting, where we each try to guess the country of origin, the type and age of the whisk(e)y, the ABV, and the type of barrel/cask used for maturation, followed by a reveal at 9PM. Glenmorangie head whisky maker Dr. Bill Lumsden created a whisky with a heavy influence from Japanese Mizunara casks, as well as ex-bourbon barrels and Sherry casks.
