All Knappogue Castle whiskies are sourced. Some may have come from Bushmills in Northern Ireland, and others from Cooley, Midleton or Great Northern in Ireland. It is not clear where this spirit is distilled. What I do know is that it was triple-distilled in copper pot stills, initially matured in bourbon casks and finished in Marchesi Di Barolo Wine Casks. There were 1200 bottles in this special wine cask finish release.
