Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club # 88 - Mars Japanese Whisky. This whisky was distilled in 2015 and 2016 at the Shinshu Distillery (in a gorgeous location at 800m in the Japanese Alps, the highest elevation distillery in Japan) and matured in ex- bourbon barrels at Yakushima, an island 60km off of the Kagoshima mainland in southern Japan.
