Cairdeas means friendship in Scottish Gaelic; and every year, Laphroaig releases a new Cairdeas edition at Feis Ile for the "Friends of Laphroaig." The 2024 edition was matured in a combination of three casks: Initially in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and quarter casks, and then finished in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks.
