- Palate: Breakfast bowl of dried and fresh fruit (raisins, prunes, peaches and cantaloupe) drizzled with maple syrup
- Finish: Long and sweet - initially prune juice, followed by sugar-coated anise seed
- Balance: Very nice. It's a high ABV whisky, but it's not hot. It leaves a warm and tingly, toasty buzz on the roof of my mouth.

This single-cask whisky, matured in a first-fill sherry butt, has a deep, rich, amber-red color. It was distilled in January 2006 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in celebration of the Spirit of Speyside Festival 2020. One of 564 bottles (90 of which were made available in the USA). The SMWS categorizes the flavor profile as "Deep, Rich & Dried Fruits." That's spot on.
