Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 185 - Lost Lantern Summer Releases with Adam Polonsky. “Saratoga Summer II” is a special collaboration between First Fill Spirits (Saratoga Springs, NY USA) and independent bottler Lost Lantern (Vergennes VT, USA). 2024 was the first collaboration between Lost Lantern and First Fill for a Saratoga Summer release. This 2025 release is the second annual bottling. To select this year’s whiskey, Adam and Nora from Lost Lantern sent First Fill Spirits over a dozen blind samples. After much tasting and deliberation, Charles and Holly kept returning to one standout. When the reveal came, they were stunned to learn that their favorite came from a distillery they had never even heard of - SanTan Spirits in Chandler AZ.
