This unusual single-barrel whiskey is not technically a bourbon, because of where it was bottled. It was distilled in Kentucky in 2006, and initially matured in new charred oak barrels. It was then transferred to a new Chichibu barrel in 2012, finished for an additional 7 years, and bottled in Japan for Bar Milwaukee's Club (Kawaguchi, Japan).
