Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 97 - Burn's Night 2022. This whisky was distilled by Inchfad at the Loch Lomond Distillery, matured in a refill bourbon hogshead, and finished in a Grand Cru Bordeaux Barrique. There were 277 total bottles from this cask. This whisky was quite unusual - there was no peat smoke on the nose, but then a ton on the palate. The finish reminds me quite a bit of Caol Ila 12; but, this whisky is smoother and more full bodied.
