Single Cask Nation began as a membership society of folks who were interested in rare, fine single cask whiskies and other spirits. Now they are a top independent bottler of spirits. The founders are Joshua Hatton & Jason Johnstone-Yellin, both highly regarded in the whisky industry for their palates and podcast, One Nation Under Whisky. This whisky was bottled for the Water of Life Film from cask #s 3, 10, 14, 20, 30 and 31. The casks were between 7 and 9 years old; 5 of them were unpeated and 1 is peated. I have been led to believe / informed by an undisclosed source that the undisclosed distillery is likely the Isle of Arran Distillery. This whisky was bottled in 2021; and there were 1600 bottles in the release. I received this bottle as a gift; and I was given it to taste while staying on a farm. It was purchased at First Fill Spirits (Saratoga Springs, NY).
