Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club "Blind January" tasting, where each participant tried to guess the country of origin, grain, ABV and type of barrel used. Ian Macleod Distillers is an independent bottler in Scotland, and is one of the top ten largest Scotch whisky companies. It is a family-run business producing and selling over 15 million bottles of spirits annually. This single-malt whisky is from an undisclosed Islay distillery and is finished in Caribbean Rum Barrels. It reminded me of Caol Ila, but I don't know if that's where it's from.
