This is a luscious and delicious whisky. It is also pricey! It is more full bodied, less briny and less peaty than the core range 18-year old. It was distilled in November 2002 and initially matured for 14 years in a combination of rum and bourbon barrels, followed by 3 years in fresh Madeira Hogsheads. It was bottled in October 2020; and there were 9200 bottles in the outturn.
