Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 89 - Stauning Danish Whisky. Stauning was founded in 2005; and they use local grains to make their whisky. The mash bill for this whisky is 30% malted barley and 70% malted rye. Both the rye and barley are floor-malted at the distillery. The whisky was matured in heavily-charred virgin American White Oak.
