Tasted as Day 18 of the 2024 Saratoga Whiskey Club Advent Calendar. Every day is a new adventure with a blind tasting, where we each try to guess the country of origin, the type and age of the whisk(e)y, the ABV, and the type of barrel/cask used for maturation, followed by a reveal at 9PM. This whiskey is a blend of bourbons distilled in Indiana by MGP, as well whiskeys from Tennessee and Kentucky. It was bottled by Barrell Craft Spirits in Kentucky. Stellum whiskeys were a short-lived brand from Barrell Craft Spirits that are no longer being made. Stellum comes from the Latin word “stella” or star, and all the Stellium line of whiskeys are named after cosmic objects (stars, comets, constellations, etc).
