Originally tasted an older release in 2015 and rated it 78. This photo is from a 2017 release. The 2019 release I tasted at Teeling Distillery (and updated in this rating) was a big improvement over the 2015. The 2019 release was matured for 6 years in ex-bourbon, then split and matured for an additional 1 yr in Port, Madeira, Cabernet, and White Burgundy. Then, these were married and vatted with 23yr Sherry. The Teeling Distillery opened in 2015. This whiskey is made with aged Cooley stock.
