This is the first whiskey distilled in Dublin since 1976. It was matured for 3 years in a combination of sherry and American oak casks. It was surprisingly smooth; and the quality of the new make spirit really comes through. If they're willing to let this mature in casks for another 6-7 years, it will be amazing.
