This special release was created for members of the Kilchoman Club. It is a marriage of four maturation casks: Cask 283/2006 (Bourbon) distilled 11-Oct-2006, Cask 376/2007 (Bourbon) distilled 1-Nov-2007, Cask 123/2007 (Bourbon) distilled 30-May-2007, and Cask 425/2007 (Sherry) distiled 13-Dec-2007. It was bottled on 27-Nov-2019, so it didn't quite make it to 12 years in age. My bottle is #1155 of 1242. This is my favorite Kilchoman yet. I have always appreciated their grain-to-glass terroir methodology, and I know that they're doing things right. Up to now, I've found many of their whiskies to be a little rough. However, this one is a gem.
