Independent bottler, Raising Glasses, partnered with Seattle-based Westland Distillery to create the Seattle Music Series VOL 1 - "STORIES" to honor the hometown of Westland Distillery with artwork inspired by Seattle's greatest musicians. The STORIES 8 year American Single Malt is a single-cask whiskey (Cask # 6540) and features Westland's 5-malt barley recipe finished for 4 years 8 months in a Barbados rum cask. It was distilled at Westland in Seattle in Dec 2014, re-racked Feb 2019, and bottled Nov 2023 in New Hampshire by Raising Glasses. I tasted this whiskey at First Fill Spirits (Saratoga Springs, NY).
