Independent bottler, Raising Glasses, partnered with Seattle-based Westland Distillery to create the Seattle Music Series VOL 2 - "VOODOO" to honor the hometown of Westland Distillery with artwork inspired by Seattle's greatest musicians. The VOODOO 9 year American Single Malt is a single-cask whiskey (Cask # 6253) and features Westland's peated malt barley finished for 5 years in a Banyuls dessert wine French Oak Cask. It was distilled at Westland in Seattle in July 2014, re-racked in October 2018, and bottled in November 2023 in New Hampshire by Raising Glasses. I tasted this whiskey at First Fill Spirits (Saratoga Springs, NY).
