This was distilled 13-Dec-2001, matured in an ex-bourbon barrel, and bottled on 14-May-2018. Bottle # 178 out of 208. Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club "Whisky Hoop" tasting. The Whisky Hoop is an exclusive club associated with some of the finest bars in Japan; and they get special single cask releases of Scotch whisky. We were privileged to try 6 of them in one night. Wow!
