Bartels Whisky is a UK-based, family-run, independent Scotch-whisky bottler that specializes in single-cask, cask-strength, natural-color bottlings for its in-house label. The Highland Laird label carries a deep family connection: the name has been associated with the family business for over fifty years, and in 2014 Bartels revived the label as their dedicated single-cask bottling range. With each release under Highland Laird, Bartels hand-selects a cask (often from lesser-seen distilleries or unusual maturation stories), bottles it at cask strength and natural color, and presents it as a unique expression. This whisky was distilled on February 23rd, 2015 at Dalmore Distillery, matured in Cask No 300120, a sherry butt, and bottled by Bartels under their Highland Laird label. There were 120 Bottles in the outturn.
