Tasted as Day 4 of The Saratoga Whiskey Club Advent Calendar 2023. Every day is a new adventure with a blind tasting, where we each try to guess the country of origin, the type and age of the whisk(e)y, the ABV, and the type of barrel/cask used for maturation, followed by a reveal at 9PM. This whisky had no explicit age statement; however, on the back label it says it is comprised of 50% 12 Year Rye, 20% 19 Year Rye, and 30% 21 Year Corn whiskies. It was aged in New Charred Oak, and finished in Ex-Bourbon Islay scotch barrels. Mash bill: 66% rye, 30% corn, 4% barley. This whisky is a store pick from Gordon's (Waltham MA).
