I tasted this whisky on my birthday, using the 18 year age statement as an 18-year contribution to 67 years of Scotch for my 67th birthday. The Imperial Distillery operated sporadically between 1897 and 1998. The distillery was demolished in 2013 and a new distillery, Dalmunach, was established on the site in 2015. This whisky was distilled at Imperial in December, 1976 and bottled by independent bottler, Glenhaven, in March, 1995.
