This limited-edition whisky (605 bottles in the outturn) was initially matured in small bourbon barrels and then transferred to sherry hogsheads for finishing. Tenmile was founded by Joel LeVangia and his father-in-law, John Dyson. They hired Scottish Master Distiller Shane Fraser from Wolfburn to be their master distiller. And, he's done a great job, bringing in Forsyth stills and making some lovely whisky. If you have the opportunity to visit Tenmile, it's well worth it - gorgeous facility, wonderful people, and delicious whisky. Photo courtesy of Tenmile Distillery.
