Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 66: American Whiskey. This single-barrel rye, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society, is one of the most unusual whiskies I've ever had. It was barely recognizable as a rye - lots of piney and citrusy notes. The mash bill was 80% rye and 20% malted barley.
