Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 99 - Glass Revolution Imports, hosted by Raj Sabharwal (@WhiskyRaj) of Glass Revolution Imports (glassrev.com). Murray McDavid is an independent bottler located in the Speyside region of Scotland. One of its founders was Mark Reynier (formerly of Bruichladdich and currently of Waterford). This whisky was distilled in 2014; and the outturn consists of 2285 bottles from 6 casks that were initially matured in ex-bourbon and then finished for 6 months in Pedro Ximenez casks. The distillery was not disclosed on the bottle label; but if you search for the Scottish Gaelic word for "Save Haven," you will see that it's Ledaig.
