Heritage Cask Whiskey is distilled in Kentucky and aged in Vermont. It uses a high-rye bourbon mash bill, pot distilled in Kentucky - 65% corn, 35% rye and 5% barley. It matures in Vermont in 53-gallon used bourbon barrels for over 4 years, and is then finished for 6 months in California Cabernet casks. Because it was matured in used bourbon barrels, this is not a bourbon. Hence, it is a single-grain whiskey. Limited availability - Vermont, Massachusetts and the NY Capital Region.
