This is a straight bourbon whiskey that is finished in bourbon barrels previously used for aging maple syrup at the Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse. The maple syrup influence is subtle; and it complements the bourbon flavors very well. This is the first barrel pick release chosen by the Wicked Bourbon Kid from Lake George, NY. I sampled this delicious whiskey courtesy of Charles Grabitzky and the Saratoga Whiskey Club. Photo by Charles Grabitzky.
