Hillrock is proud to be one of the few “field-to-glass” whiskey producers in the world and the first USA distillery since before Prohibition to floor malt and handcraft whiskey on site from estate-grown grain. The barley in this single malt whiskey was floor malted with peat. It was matured in new charred American Oak and used Bourbon barrels, then finished in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry barrels for 6-8 weeks.
