Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 190 - Irish Arrivals. J.J. Corry is a small independent bottler based in County Clare, Ireland. Founded by Louise McGuane, she is known for her innovative approach to blending and aging Irish whiskey. In 2013, Louise came upon an old Irish Whiskey label that had a shamrock on it. After some digging, she discovered that just a few miles away from her family’s farm was a whiskey bonder called “J.J. Corry." The brand is named in honor of the long-lost entrepreneur. This single pot still whiskey was fully matured in sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. It is a limited edition release with only 600 bottles globally.
