Tenmile was founded by Joel LeVangia and his father-in-law, John Dyson. They hired Scottish Master Distiller Shane Fraser from Wolfburn to be their master distiller. And, he's done a great job, bringing in Forsyth stills and making some lovely whisky. If you have the opportunity to visit Tenmile, it's well worth it - gorgeous facility, wonderful people, and delicious whisky. This whisky was matured 100% in ex-Bourbon barrels from Tennessee and Kentucky.
