Prohibition Craft Spirits are the Louisville-based producers of NULU and Hazelbaker whiskeys. New Louisville is the brand for their single barrel collection. These barrels are earmarked in the warehouse for this exclusive, private barrel label that features whiskey bottled at peak maturity with a minimum eight years of age. This barrel (R18) was bottled exclusively for Skurnik Wines & Spirits. It was distilled by by MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. A portion of the maturation took place at PCS Distilling’s warehouse, where the barrel was heat-cycled, introducing temperature variation to raise proof and viscosity.
