Independent bottler, Raising Glasses, partnered with Seattle-based Westland Distillery to create the Seattle Music Series VOL 3 - "BLOOM" to honor the hometown of Westland Distillery with artwork inspired by Seattle's greatest musicians. The BLOOM 8 year American Single Malt is a single-cask whiskey (Cask # 2478) and features Westland's pale-malt barley recipe matured for over 8 years in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask. It was distilled at Westland in Seattle in Feb 2015 and bottled Nov 2023 in New Hampshire by Raising Glasses. I tasted this whiskey at First Fill Spirits (Saratoga Springs, NY).
