Tasted at Saratoga Whiskey Club Tasting # 69 - Westland. This whiskey is a special bottling that is part of the "Native Oak Series" released in 2020. There were 5625 bottles in the release. The whiskey was matured for a minimum of 45 months in a combination of 2 cask types- 1st-fill ex-bourbon Quercas Alba (64%) and Virgin Quercas Garryana (36%). The malt bill is simpler than the standard Westland it is a combination of Washington Select Pale Malt and Bairds Heavily Peated Malt from the UK.
